What Is Ayurveda?

"One whose physiology and digestive processes are functioning in balance, whose bodily tissues and elimination processes are normal, and whose senses, mind, and spirit are filled with bliss—such a one is called a healthy person."

This timeless definition of health comes from Ayurveda, the world’s oldest known system of natural healing. Ancient does not mean outdated! Many of the Ayurvedic core principles—like dietary and lifestyle recommendations—are now being validated through cutting-edge research in gut-brain interactions, the microbiome, circadian rhythms, and even quantum physics.

Ayurveda emphasizes achieving health and well-being primarily through good nutrition, moderate lifestyle, meditation, and herbs. However, many other modalities—such as aromatherapy, gem and vibrational therapy, Vedic architecture, and Vedic astrology—can also play a role.

Ayurveda empowers individuals to take control of their own health by understanding their own physiology and how to interpret signals from our body and mind!
